They are often taken for granted. It is so nice to see this beautiful tribute to hands. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to do calligraphy, and as I read your poem, it came to me how gorgeous this would be done in calligraphy interwoven with the print. It's a form of art that brings poem and print together into one - it's hard to describe, but so cool. I've saved several samples from college days. One assignment was to do this with a poem with horrible death imagery - it was bizarre, stunning, beautiful. I always figured I'd get back to calligraphy one day. I guess it's on my extensive "retirement list." LOL! By the way - I chose you as a recipient for the Stylish Blogger award. Check out my post today for details! :)
ReplyDeleteWriting hands to reveal the beauty of your soul's intentions.
ReplyDeleteForgot to wish you a wonderful Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteDiane, yes--what an incredible blessing our hands are!
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I love calligraphy! I've never studied the art formally, but my passion for the flow of writing drew me to 'play' with calligraphy. Thank you for honoring me with the Stylish Blogger award. I will pop over to your site and check it out!
Mermaid, lovely, yes..."writing hands"...I apparently channeled that into today's post! LOL
