Tiny Beings Who Dwell Within

I cradle within new life and light, and the will to bring gifts of realization into the world. My soul glows and warms the seeds of all creativity and inspiration. All the stories are sheltered here, they perform their own metamorphoses, as they grow into thought forms and then into words on a page.

See all the tiny beings and their dreams? They laugh and love and experience challenges, waiting to be born. These tiny beings work hard to capture my attention, to encourage me to see life in a new way; they explode firecrackers to atomic bombs, and share love as vast as the great plains once roamed by millions of magnificent beasts. They help me and guide me, these tiny beings, sharing their thoughts and ideas, and showing me that all ways of being are good and all paths lead eventually to the top of the mountain or to the edge of the sea. I birth feelings - what I feel or wish to feel or see others feeling. The tiny beings who dwell within build their invisible worlds and show me stories, they open my eyes and heart to all the lives I could live or have lived. I hold them near, for they are all of us experiencing this world.

Like fireflies, I see them flitting through channels of energy, feeling a spark here, another there, but they always return home to rest and recharge in my Center. I feel them in the static when I brush my hair, charged with power, wisdom and the strength of the Divine Feminine. The tiny beings that dwell within, lighting their hearth fires, keeping the love lights glowing in all seasons.

Are the stories within any less real simply because they have yet to breathe?
Are the stories and their beings less deserving simply because they are imaginary?
What is imagination anyway but the creation of life from nothing?

The stories are not new and neither are their beings. Cycles come and go, and the stories are our living of these cycle, within and without, but nothing is new really. Only our perception is new, fresh. Maybe I couldn't hear the message, their voices, Her voice, any other way. Maybe this story, this character, this experience, this tear or death or fear or breath, will be the spark that lights the fire that shifts just one person backward or forward into Harmony.

And so I hold the stories within as they grow until they are ready to be born...

The Rose of Innocence

PINK. Love. Innocence.

Sitting in a field, I gaze into the center of the rose with childlike delight, smiling, giggling. My hands cup the petals as to a chalice brimming with love and grace. I feel infinite gratitude well up inside me like a blossoming flower, gentle and peaceful. I feel incredibly free, open and unconstrained! The very air around me vibrates to the symphony of the Universe.

Waterfalls of flowers, multi-colored and vibrant, cascade behind me, their gentle rush of petals like a whispered hush...sshhhh.... I sit and contemplate the pure joy of this moment. Bliss spreads throughout all that we are, here, now, One.

My cushion is precious, I feel nourished and fulfilled. My root is Her root, we are joined always, never knowing where one begins and the other ends because there is no beginning or end. I gaze into my rose crystal ball and smile at my future, because it is now and perfect. Laughing...

... Laughing... I am a fairy of the woods, sitting with a flower as large as a basket, able to reach my fingers into the spaces between the petals and soak up the secrets of Source where they shine int he dark recesses of the velvet folds. "Would you like me to tell your future?" I ask, giggling. Perfection as is.

I feel a resonance speaking to me on a level that is pure sensation, pure innocence, like a baby or child before they are able to articulate words. Like the world before language when all was One and perfect harmony was the whole vibration!

Truly, the moment I turned over this card I began smiling and haven't stopped! I feel like I've been given a present that is perfect in every way.

Mother Nature's Child

This is an incredible movie that I hope parents everywhere see! The trailer mentions offering children time outside as part of their education:

"Parents are like 'I want my child to get lots of information ... sounds to me like all you're doing is playing in the woods.' I say, well, actually, that's true, that's exactly what we're doing, we're playing in the woods. But don't worry about the information. It'll come along for the ride. Connection is so much more powerful, that the information just follows it."
~ Jon Young, Tracker, Co-author "Coyote's Guide to Connecting To Nature"

So many children today have what has been termed "Nature Deficit Disorder" (see the book, "Last Child in the Woods").

Mirror Mirror On The Wall

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall..."

The glass image wavy in its ancient origins, I see myself and wonder who I am. For a moment I see a stranger who wears a face disguised by a mask - the armor of a shield worn to protect the real Self, its gold plating rubbed dull with worry. A face hidden behind what might be, asking for Truth. She moves closer and Her features become sharper, revealing The Quest, lips parted as if to pose a query that has been waiting for so long to emerge. Her eyes invite love and honesty, open in the stillness of centuries of silence. She wavers, disappearing, pulling away as the sun rises on a new day, the light from the window casting glowing fingers upon the mask as she withdraws slowly. "Wait! Don't go!"

I fall into Her eyes and swim in Her soul
where lakes of molten gold flow
and shape my destiny

I hear Her whisper sweetly through
the inner ear of time, its spiral carrying
the sound of eternity

"You know - you can."

The spirit comes in the night like the ghost of Christmas past in the Dickens classic, heralding messages of vital importance if only we can hear and see and open to the gift of insight. She hovers in the realm between here and there, between now and then, She is Presence, pure and still. She is all the souls who journey and Her mask hides their true identities from those who are not ready. She is asking. I feel a question ... just there ... in Her eyes. What is she asking of me? What does she want? What do I want? Ah, yes... What do I want? Where am I going?

Reality steps in and I'm reminded of an old movie I came across this past week. It is a black and white film from 1945 that has stayed with me for ages; the title says it all ... "I Know Where I'm Going" ... Do I? The woman in the story is sure that she knows exactly where she is going and why as she journeys across Scotland to the Hebrides, determined to achieve her goal, but Mother Nature and Love step in and she has to ask herself ... where am I going? I had thought that the movie stuck with me because of the fabulous location shooting and the wonderful scene of a local Wild Woman sweeping into the castle after being out in the wind and rain with her pack of Scottish Deerhounds. But maybe ... maybe ... it also has to do with the theme of the movie as I watched it when I was at a crossroads in my life, truly wondering "where am I going?"

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall..."

She invites me to reflection - deep, honest contemplation of Self. She reminds me of the Charge of the Goddess ...

"If that which you seek, you find not within, you will never find it without."
