The Spiral Dance

SoulCards(c) Deborah Koff-Chapin
She plays the Spiral Dance.
Expose the core and
within we find the Spiral Dance,
never ending, never beginning,
always here and now.
I swirl and twirl within the dance,
the spiral guiding slow or fast.
The melody may vary
but not the Source.
We are all One.
We play the Spiral Dance.

  2. Vicki, you quote a beautiful line from Yeats...the whole stanza is gorgeous, isn't it...

Labour is blossoming or dancing where
The body is not bruised to pleasure soul.
Nor beauty born out of its own despair,
Nor blear-eyed wisdom out of midnight oil.
    O chestnut-tree, great-rooted blossomer,
Are you the leaf, the blossom or the bole?
O body swayed to music, O brightening glance,
How can we know the dancer from the dance?
